Auguste Baptiste Cavadini (born July 21, 1865 in Morbio Inferiore , Switzerland , † unknown) was a French sports shooter .

successes

Auguste Cavadini took part in the Olympic Games in Paris in 1900 in five disciplines. In the three-position battle he reached third place with Achille Paroche , Léon Moreaux , Maurice Lecoq and René Thomas and thus won the bronze medal. In the individual disciplines he finished eleventh in the three-position fight, 17th in the kneeling position, tenth in the standing position and seventh in the lying position.

At world championships , Cavadini won six bronze medals with the free rifle, two of them in the individual and four with the team in the three-position fight. He achieved his greatest success in Turin in 1898 when he became world champion in the team competition of the three-position fight.
