The tour of the Indian national cricket team to Australia in the 1999/2000 season took place from December 10, 1999 to January 4, 2000. The international cricket tour was part of the 1999/2000 international cricket season and included three tests . Australia won the series 3–0.

prehistory

Australia previously played a tour against Pakistan , India a tour against New Zealand . The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in the 1997/98 season in India .
