Ashes Tour 1990/91

The Ashes Tour 1990/91 was the tour of the England national cricket team , which included the 56th edition of the Ashes , and was carried out between November 23, 1990 and February 5, 1991. The Ashes Series 1990/91 itself was played in the form of five test matches between Australia and England. The venues were always Australian stadiums. In addition to the test series, the tour included a number of other games between the two teams in the winter of 1990/91 . The test series was won by Australia with 3–0.

prehistory

It was the first tour of the season for both teams. Parallel to the test series, the Benson & Hedges World Series 1990/91 was a three-nation tournament with New Zealand . The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in England in the 1989 season .
