The tour of the English national cricket team to South Africa in the 1995/96 season took place from November 16, 1995 to January 21, 1996. The international cricket tour was part of the 1995/96 international cricket season and included five tests and seven ODIs . South Africa won the Test Series 1–0 and the ODI Series 6–1.

prehistory

South Africa previously did a tour in Zimbabwe , for England it was the first tour of the season. The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in England in the 1994 season .
