Border is a South African cricket team based in East London that competed in professional national competitions until October 2004. From then on, they were merged with Eastern Province and part of the Warriors , and continued to play under the name Border in the second-rate South African competitions.

history

Border has long been found in the lower regions of the highest level of South African cricket. It wasn't until the end of the 1990s that the team managed to place second in the Currie Cup three times between 1999/2000 and 2000/01 . In the 2003/04 season the provincial teams were merged and Border formed together with Eastern Province, the Warriors. In the following years, the team managed to win two wins in the List A competition of the now semi-professional provincial teams.

Buffalo Park in East London has been used as the team's home since 1988 .
