Sri Lankan national cricket team in South Africa in the 2011/12 season
The Sri Lankan national cricket team tour to South Africa in the 2011/12 season took place from December 15, 2011 to January 22, 2012. The international cricket tour was part of the 2011/12 international cricket season and included three tests and five ODIs . South Africa won the Test Series 2–1 and the ODI Series 3–2.
prehistory
South Africa previously played a tour against Australia , Sri Lanka against Pakistan . The last tour of the two teams against each other took place in the 2006 season in Sri Lanka .
