The tour of the Sri Lankan national cricket team to New Zealand in the 2005/06 season took place from December 31, 2005 to January 8, 2006. The international cricket tour was part of the 2005/06 international cricket season and included four ODIs . New Zealand won the series 3–1.

New Zealand previously played a tour against Australia and Sri Lanka in India . The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in the 2004/05 season in New Zealand .
