The tour of the Pakistani national cricket team to Sri Lanka in the 2005/06 season took place from March 17 to April 5, 2006. The international cricket tour was part of the 2005/06 international cricket season and included two tests and three ODIs . Pakistan won the Test Series 1–0 and the ODI Series 2–0.

prehistory

Sri Lanka previously played a tour against Bangladesh , Pakistan against India . The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in Pakistan in the 2004/05 season .
