Bangladeshi national cricket team in Sri Lanka in the 2005 season
The tour of the Bangladeshi national cricket team to Sri Lanka in the 2005 season took place from August 31 to September 22, 2005. The international cricket tour was part of the 2005 international cricket season and included two tests and three ODIs . Sri Lanka won the Test Series 2–0 and the ODI Series 3–0.
prehistory
Sri Lanka previously played a three-nation tournament at home , while Bangladesh played a three-nation tournament in England . The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in the 2002 season in Sri Lanka .
