The Lamberts Peak is a small mountain in the East Antarctic Princess Elizabeth Land . In the Grove Mountains it rises 5 km north-northeast of the Mason Peaks .
It was mapped using aerial photographs taken between 1956 and 1960 as part of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions . The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia (ANCA) named it on June 29, 1965 after the Australian topography draftsman G. Lamberts, who was involved in the creation of maps of Antarctica as an employee in the Australian Ministry of National Development .
