Bangladeshi national cricket team in Australia in the 2003 season

The tour of the Bangladeshi national cricket team to Australia in the 2003 season took place from July 18 to August 6, 2003. The international cricket tour was part of the 2003 international cricket season and included two tests and three ODIs . Australia won the Test Series 2-0 and the ODI Series 3-0.

prehistory

Australia previously played a tour in the West Indies , Bangladesh against South Africa . It was the first tour of the two teams against each other. The two stadiums in Darwin and Cairns were the first stadiums outside of the state capitals to host test cricket. With the tour, which was unusually held in the Australian winter, the Australian Association wanted to relax the busy calendar.
