Ashes Tour 2017/18

The Ashes Tour 2017/18 was the tour of England's national cricket team that included the 70th edition of the Ashes and was conducted between November 23, 2017 and January 28, 2018. The Ashes Series 2017/18 itself was played in the form of five test matches between Australia and England. The venues were always Australian stadiums. In addition to the test series, the tour included another ODI series between the two teams in winter 2017/18 . Australia won the Test Series 4–0, England the ODI Series 4–1.

prehistory

Australia previously played a tour in India , for England it was the first tour of the season. The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in England in the 2015 season . Immediately after this tour, the two teams will hold a three-nation tournament together with New Zealand . For the first time, an international cricket game was held in the newly built Perth Stadium at the fifth ODI .
