Nidhas Trophy 2017/18

The Nidahas Trophy 2017/18 was a three-nation tournament that was held from March 6 to 18, 2018 in Sri Lanka in Twenty20 cricket. In addition to the host, teams from India and Bangladesh took part in the tournament, which is part of the 2017/18 international cricket season . In the final India was able to prevail against Bangladesh with 4 wickets.

prehistory

Sri Lanka and Bangladesh played a tour in Bangladesh immediately before , which Sri Lanka won 1–0 in the Test series and 2–0 in the Twenty20 series. India was previously playing a tour in South Africa .

format

In a preliminary round, each team played twice against each other. There were two points for a win, one for a draw or a rejection. The first two of the group qualified for the final and played for the tournament victory.
