Ashes Tour 1998/99

The Ashes Tour 1998/99 was the tour of the English cricket team to Australia , the 60th edition of the Ashes included and was between November 7, 1998 to January 5, 1999 as part of the international cricket season 1998/99 held . The Ashes Series 1998/99 was played in the form of five test matches between England and Australia. Australia won the Ashes 4-1.

prehistory

Both teams previously took part in the ICC KnockOut 1998 and failed each in the quarterfinals. The last meeting of the two teams took place in England in the 1997 season .
