Ashes Tour 1997

The Ashes Tour 1997 was the Australian national cricket team's tour to England , which included the 59th edition of the Ashes and was held between June 5 and August 23, 1997. It was part of the 1997 international cricket season and included six tests and three ODIs . Australia won the Test Series 3–2, while England and the ODI Series won 3–0.

It was the first tour of the season for both teams. The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in the 1994/95 season in Australia .
