Asia Cup 1997 (cricket)

The Asia Cup 1997 was the 6th edition of the cricket competition for Asian national teams, which is held in ODI format . In the final, Sri Lanka was able to prevail against India with 8 wickets.

Attendees

The participants were all three nations with test status (hosts Sri Lanka, India and Pakistan) as well as Bangladesh.

format

The four teams played against each other team in a group. The first two teams qualified for the final and played the tournament winner there.
