The tour of the New Zealand national cricket team to England in the 1999 season took place from July 1 to August 22, 1999. The international cricket tour was part of the 1999 international cricket season and consisted of four tests . New Zealand won the series 2–1.

prehistory

Before that, both teams played at the 1999 Cricket World Cup in England. England was eliminated in the preliminary round, while New Zealand made it to the semi-finals. The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in the 1996/97 season in New Zealand .
