The New Zealand national cricket team tour to India in the 1999/2000 season took place from October 10 to November 17, 1999. The international cricket tour was part of the 1999/2000 international cricket season and included three tests and five ODIs . India won the Test Series 1–0 and the ODI Series 3–2.

prehistory

India previously played a tournament in Kenya , for New Zealand it was the first tour of the season. The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in the 1997/98 season in India .
