The Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium , also known as the Khandheri Cricket Stadium , is a cricket stadium in Rajkot , India .

Capacity & Infrastructure

The stadium has a capacity of 28,000 and is equipped with floodlights. The two wicket ends are the Pavilion End and the END .

International cricket

The first One-Day International at Iqbal Stadium was held in January 2013 between India and England . Since then it has been the venue for several international matches. The first test match in this stadium took place in November 2016, also between India and England.

National cricket

The stadium is the home of Saurashtra in Indian national cricket. In 2016 and 2017 it was also home to the Gujarat Lions in the Indian Premier League .
