The Afghan national cricket team's tour to India in the 2018 season took place from June 14-18, 2018. The international cricket tour was part of the 2018 international cricket season and included a test . India won the Test Series 1–0. It included the first test in Afghanistan, making it the twelfth test nation.

prehistory

Afghanistan previously played a tour against Bangladesh in India . For India it was the first tour of the season. Afghanistan received test status together with Ireland on June 22, 2017 . The game attracted international attention, as the award as a test nation for Afghanistan, which was weakened by numerous wars and terrorism, was interpreted as an important success for the country.
