The tour of the Australian national cricket team to India in the 1959/60 season took place from December 12, 1959 to January 28, 1960. The international cricket tour was part of the 1959/60 international cricket season and comprised five tests . Australia won the series 2–1.

prehistory

Australia previously toured Pakistan and India was the first tour of the season. The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in the 1956/57 season in India .
