Ashes Tour 1968

The Ashes tour in 1968 was the tour of the Australian Cricket Team , the 44th staging of the Ashes included, and was held between June 6 and 27 August 1968th The international cricket tour was part of the 1968 international cricket season and included five test matches . The test series ended 1−1 in a draw, which allowed Australia to keep the Ashes as defending champions.

It was the first tour of the season for both teams. The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in the 1965/66 season in Australia .
