Australian national cricket team in New Zealand in the 2015/16 season

The Australian national cricket team's tour to New Zealand in the 2015/16 season took place from February 3 to 24, 2016. The international cricket tour was part of the 2015/16 international cricket season and included two tests and three ODIs . Australia won the test series 2–0, while New Zealand won the ODI series 2–1.

prehistory

Australia previously played a tour against India while New Zealand played against Pakistan . The last meeting between the two teams took place in November of the same season . The New Zealand team captain Brendon McCullum announced in advance that he wanted to end his international career with this tour.
