Pakistani national cricket team in Zimbabwe for the 2015/16 season

The tour of the Pakistani national cricket team to Zimbabwe in the 2015/16 season took place from September 24th to October 5th, 2015. The international cricket tour was part of the 2015/16 international cricket season and included three ODIs and two Twenty20s . Pakistan won the ODI series 2–1 and the Twenty20 series 2–0.

prehistory

It was the first tour of the season for both teams. The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in Pakistan in the 2015 season . Originally the tour was supposed to take place in August and September, but if Pakistan had lost its qualification for the ICC Champions Trophy 2017 would have been endangered. Therefore, the tour was moved to the new season.
