The tour of India's national cricket team to Zimbabwe in the 2001 season took place from May 28 to June 15, 2001. The international cricket tour was part of the 2001 international cricket season and included two test matches . The test series ran out 1–1.
prehistory
It was the first tour of the season for both teams. The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in the 2000/01 season in India . Both teams then contested a three-nation tournament together with the West Indies .
