Indian national cricket team in Sri Lanka in the 2008 season

The Indian national cricket team's tour to Sri Lanka in the 2008 season took place from July 18 to August 29, 2008. The international cricket tour was part of the 2008 international cricket season and included three tests and five ODIs . Sri Lanka won the Test series 2-1 while India won the ODI series 3-2.

prehistory

Both teams previously contested the Asia Cup 2008 , in which Sri Lanka was able to prevail against India in the final. The last tour of the two teams against each other took place in the 2006/07 season in India .
