The tour of the Zimbabwean national cricket team to Sri Lanka in the 2001/02 season took place from December 1, 2001 to January 16, 2002. The international cricket tour was part of the 2001/02 international cricket season and included three test matches . Sri Lanka won the test series 3-0.

prehistory

Both teams previously played a three-nation tournament together with the West Indies . The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in the 1999/2000 season in Zimbabwe .
