Zimbabwean national cricket team in Pakistan in the 2015 season
The Zimbabwean national cricket team tour to Pakistan in the 2015 season took place from May 22nd to 31st, 2015. The international cricket tour was part of the 2015 international cricket season and included three ODIs and two Twenty20s . Pakistan won both series with 2–0 each.
prehistory
classification
It was the first tour of the season for both teams. The last time the two teams met on a tour was in Zimbabwe in the 2013 season .
safety
It was the first tour by a full member of the ICC since the attacks on the Sri Lankan national cricket team in Lahore in 2009. Accordingly, security was a priority in the run-up to the tour. Zimbabwean players repeatedly expressed doubts as to whether the tour was safe and the ICC decided not to send its own match officials to Pakistan. On May 17th, the Zimbabwean Association finally approved. Later it became known that the Pakistani association PCB had given the Zimbabwean players money to agree to go on the tour. In the vicinity of the stadium there was a suicide attack during the second ODI, after which the tour was continued.
