Zimbabwean cricket team in Bangladesh in the 2018/19 season
The Zimbabwean cricket team's tour to Bangladesh for the 2018/19 season will take place from October 21 to November 15, 2018. The international cricket tour is part of the 2018/19 international cricket season and includes two tests and three ODIs . Bangladesh won the ODI series 3–0, while the Test series ended in a 1–1 draw.
prehistory
Zimbabwe previously played a tour in South Africa , for Bangladesh it is the first tour of the season. The last meeting of the two teams took place in the 2015/16 season in Bangladesh . Originally the tour was supposed to take place in January and February 2019, but was canceled for security reasons, because of the elections in Bangladesh . With the postponement, a third planned test of the tour was also canceled.
