The tour of the Bangladeshi national cricket team to New Zealand in the 2018/19 season took place from February 13 to March 20, 2019. The international cricket tour was part of the 2018/19 international cricket season and included three tests and three ODIs . New Zealand won the ODI series 3-0 and the Test series 2-0.

New Zealand previously played a tour against India , Bangladesh a tour in the West Indies The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in the 2016/17 season in New Zealand .

Game canceled

The test was canceled after the attack on two mosques in Christchurch on March 15. During the attack, the Bangladeshi team was about to enter the Al Noor mosque when they heard gunshots. They were then evacuated to the nearby Hagley Oval , before being taken to the hotel after the situation had calmed down and, after the tour was canceled, flown to Bangladesh shortly afterwards.
