The tour of the Bangladeshi national cricket team to the West Indies in the 2009 season took place from July 3 to August 2, 2009. The international cricket tour was part of the 2009 international cricket season and included two test matches , three ODIs and one Twenty20 . Bangladesh won all Tests and ODIs while the West Indies won the Twenty20.
prehistory
classification
The tour was initially planned for April, but after the West Indies in England stepped in as a replacement at short notice , the start did not follow until July. Bangladesh last played a series against Zimbabwe in January .
Player strike
The naming of the West Indies roster has been fraught with controversy. The Test_Kader originally named on July 7th had to be revised the next day after the players' association announced a boycott. As a result, only an inexperienced team played for the West Indies at the first test, which led to Bangladesh's second test victory. The strike ended after the West Indies' second Test defeat on July 22nd, but the team's selectors decided not to revise the selection decisions they had made.
