The Arnos Vale Ground , also known as The Playing Fields , is a cricket and soccer stadium in Kingstown , St. Vincent and the Grenadines . Currently it is mainly used for cricket and soccer . The stadium offers 18,000 spectators and is located in the immediate vicinity of ET Joshua Airport . It is one of the home venues of the Windward Islands Cricket Team.
The first match was held on February 4, 1981 as One-Day International . The West Indies faced England . The first test match took place from June 20 to 24, 1997 ; the West Indies and Sri Lanka faced each other.
