The tour of the English national cricket team to the West Indies in the 1929/30 season took place from January 11 to April 13, 1930. The international cricket tour was part of the 1929/30 international cricket season and included four tests . The series ended 1-1 in a draw.
prehistory
England toured New Zealand at the same time and was the few times that a team has completed two tests at the same time. The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in England in the 1928 season . It was the first tour ever to take place in the West Indies.
