The tour of India's national cricket team to South Africa in the 1896 season took place from June 4 to March 21, 1896. The international cricket tour was part of the 1896 international cricket season and included three tests . England won the series 3–0.

It was the first tour of the season for both teams. The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in South Africa in the 1888/89 season .
