Indian national cricket team in South Africa for the 2006/07 season
The tour of the Indian national cricket team to South Africa in the 2006/07 season took place from November 19, 2006 to January 6, 2007. The international cricket tour was part of the 2006/07 international cricket season and included three tests , five ODIs and one Twenty20s . South Africa won the Test series 2–1 and the ODI series 4–0, while South Africa won the Twenty20 series with 1–0.
prehistory
Both teams previously played in the ICC Champions Trophy 2006 , in which South Africa was eliminated in the semi-finals and Pakistan in the preliminary round. The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in the 2005/06 season in India .
