West Indies cricket team in Pakistan in the 2006/07 season
The West Indies cricket team's tour to Pakistan in the 2006/07 season took place from November 11, 2006 to December 16, 2007. The international cricket tour was part of the 2006/07 international cricket season and included two tests and five ODIs . Pakistan won the Test series with 2–0 and the ODI series with 3–1.
prehistory
Both teams previously played in the 2006 ICC Champions Trophy , which the West Indies won and Pakistan was eliminated in the preliminary round. The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in the 2005 season in the West Indies . It was the first tour of the West Indies in Pakistan in nine years. Some West Indies players were originally scheduled for an Allen Stanford- sponsored game against South Africa , but the Pakistani Federation refused to be considerate when scheduling the tour.
