The tour of the South African national cricket team to Pakistan in the 1997/98 season took place from October 6 to October 27, 1997. The international cricket tour was part of the 1997/98 international cricket season and included three tests . South Africa won the series 1–0.

Pakistan previously played a tour against India , for India it was the first tour of the season. The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in the 1994/95 season in South Africa .
