The tour of the South African national cricket team to India in the 2005/06 season took place from November 16 to 28, 2005. The international cricket tour was part of the 2005/06 international cricket season and included five ODIs . The series 2–2 tied.

India previously played a tour against Sri Lanka , South Africa against New Zealand . The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in India in the 2004/05 season .
