The West Indies tour to England in the 1973 season ran from July 26 to September 7, 1973. The international cricket tour was part of the 1973 international cricket season and included three tests and two ODIs . The West Indies won the Test Series 2-0, while the ODI Series 1-1 ended in a draw.

prehistory

England previously played a tour against New Zealand , for the West Indies it was the first tour of the season. The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in England in the 1969 season .
