Pakistani national cricket team in England for the 2019 season

The Pakistani national cricket team tour to England for the 2019 season will take place from May 5-19, 2019. The international cricket tour is part of the 2019 international cricket season and included five ODIs and one Twenty20 . England won the Twenty20 series 1-0 and the ODI series 4-0.

prehistory

England previously played an ODI in Ireland, for Pakistan it was the first tour of the season. The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in England in the 2018 season .

The English captain Eoin Morgan was banned from an ODI because his team played too slowly. The English batsman Jonny Bairstow received a disciplinary punishment after he struck the stumps from the wicket with his bat after being out of frustration.
