Ashes Tour 1993
The 1993 Ashes Tour was the tour of the Australian national cricket team , which included the 57th edition of the Ashes , and was played between May 19 and August 23, 1993. The international cricket tour was part of the 1993 international cricket season and included six test matches and three ODIs . Australia won the test series with 4−1 and secured the Ashes for the 29th time. Australia also won the ODI series with 3–0.
prehistory
It was the first tour of the season for both teams. Both teams previously met at the Cricket World Cup in Australia and New Zealand . The last meeting on a tour took place in the 1990/91 season in Australia .
