The tour of India's national cricket team to England in the 2002 season took place from July 20 to September 9, 2002. The international cricket tour was part of the 2002 international cricket season and included four test matches . The test series ran out 1–1.

prehistory

Both teams previously played a three-nation tournament with Sri Lanka . The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in the 2001/02 season in India .
