Ashes Tour 1948

The Ashes Tour 1948 was the tour of the Australian national cricket team that included the 36th edition of the Ashes , and was held between June 10 and August 18, 1948. The international cricket tour was part of the 1948 international cricket season and included five test matches . Australia won the series 4–0.

It was the first tour of the season for both teams. The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in the 1946/47 season in Australia .
