Ashes Tour 2001

The Ashes Tour 2001 was the tour of the Australian national cricket team in England , which included the 61st edition of the Ashes and took place between June 1 and August 27, 2001. It was part of the 2001 international cricket season and included five test matches . Australia won the Ashes 4-1.

prehistory

Both teams previously contested a three-nation tournament with Pakistan . The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in the 1998/99 season in Australia .
