Ashes Tour 1884

The Ashes Tour 1884 was the tour of the Australian national cricket team that included the 2nd edition of the Ashes , and was held between July 10 and August 13, 1884. The international cricket tour was part of the 1884 international cricket season and included three test matches . England won the series 1–0.

It was the first tour of the season for both teams. The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in Australia in the 1882/83 season .
