Zimbabwean cricket team in England in the 2003 season
The 2003 season tour of the Zimbabwean cricket team to England took place from May 22nd to June 7th, 2003. The international cricket tour was part of the 2003 international cricket season and included two tests . England won the Test Series 2–0.
prehistory
It was the first tour of the season for both teams. The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in the 2001/02 season in Zimbabwe . The tour was controversial because England previously refused to play its games there at the 2003 Cricket World Cup due to the human rights situation. On April 15, 2003, Zimbabwe confirmed that the tour would take place.
