The tour of the Zimbabwean national cricket team to New Zealand in the 1995/96 season took place from January 13 to February 3, 1996. The international cricket tour was part of the 1995/96 international cricket season and included two tests and three ODIs . New Zealand won the ODI series 2–1, while the Test series 0–0 ended in a draw.

prehistory

New Zealand previously played a tour against Pakistan , Zimbabwe against South Africa . The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in the 1992/93 season in Zimbabwe .
