Zimbabwean national cricket team in Ireland for the 2019 season

The tour of the Zimbabwean Cricket Team in Ireland in the season 2019 took place from 1 to 13 July of 2019. The international cricket tour was part of the 2019 international cricket season and included three ODIs and three Twenty20s . Ireland won the ODI series 3–0, while the Twenty20 series ended in a 1–1 draw.

prehistory

Zimbabwe previously played a tour in the Netherlands , Ireland a tour against Afghanistan . The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in Zimbabwe in the 2015/16 season . The tour could only take place after the International Cricket Council provided funding to the Irish Association of Cricket Ireland after it was hit by an online fraud.
