Ireland Tri-Nation Series 2019

The Ireland Tri-Nation Series 2019 was a three-nation tournament that was played in one-day cricket in Ireland from May 5th to 17th, 2019 . In addition to the host, teams from Bangladesh and the West Indies took part in the tournament, which is part of the 2019 international cricket season .

prehistory

Ireland played an ODI against England before the tournament, for Balngadesch and the West Indies it is the first tour of the season. The tournament serves for the two visiting teams to prepare for the Cricket World Cup 2019 in England.

format

In a preliminary round, each team played twice against each other. There were two points for a win and one point for a draw or no result. The first two of the group qualified for the final and played for the tournament victory.
