Ashes Tour 2010/11
The Ashes Tour 2010/11 was the tour of the English national cricket team in Australia which included the 65th edition of the Ashes and was held between November 25, 2010 and February 6, 2011 as part of the 2010/11 international cricket season . The Ashes Series 2010/11 itself was played in the form of five test matches between England and Australia . The venues were always Australian stadiums. In addition to the test series, the tour included a number of other games between the two teams in winter 2010/11. England won the test series 3-1, Australia won the ODI series 6-1 and the Twenty20 series ended in a draw.

classification
The series were dominated by the Cricket World Cup 2011 , whose squad had to be named after the 1st ODI on January 19th. In this, both teams were eliminated in the quarter-finals. The previous Ashes series in England in 2009 was won by the host. In the summer of 2010, England had played an ODI series against Australia that they could win. The previous series for Australia was played shortly before this tour against Sri-Lanka , both limited-over series were lost. It was the first tour of the season for England, after finishing the previous season against Pakistan , which they managed to dominate .
Technical innovations
The ODI series was the first international ODI series in which the Decision Review System was used.
